I like this meme, I'm pro on investing in infrastructure, building and rebuilding big. Building that dam was $700 Million in today's dollars, but cost 112 lives. I never met a union worker that says there is too much occupational safety today. Getting home at the end of the day to loved ones is job #1. We can still build big things and go cool places, and in some places we are. I'm all for building and doing more, it just costs more money than it used to, and I don't mean because of inflation.
