BTW, I'm Baptist. I believe the grace of God and Jesus' blood saves from sin. I also believe the KJV is not the best Bible, but it is the only Bible as my pastor says. (In English.)

Yes, I believe the same except for which version to read. My pastor, when asked which is the best, says "which ever one you'll read" but then goes on to say that a good study Bible in a good translation like LJV or NKJV is better for study.

Well, the King James Version is the English Word of God. People have taken out some crucial things in the newer versions. For instance, I believe it's in the nkjv. They refere to Jesus as A son of God instead of THE Son of God. Big difference. So I'm not saying you'll go to hell if you read something other than the KJV, but to grow in Him as much as you can (which should be our goal) you should read it.
