If you didn't think Math was bad enough

It's horrible. I consider myself kinda a math geek, my kids won't let me near homework paper, if not common core used, it gets marked wrong.

I read in an article that the man behind it was a PhD from Stanford, who said that Common Core would not allow students to take Algebra I before 9th Grade or Calculus in High School, will put our country behind Asia by 2 years, but he refused to step down.

Yes. I did that track w/algebra in jr. High and calc in 12th. My 7 th grader is dividing fractions. But, they start algebraic equations as early as grade k.
