Really sorry to hear that. Sounds painful. Hope you have some people around about you who can love you and help you through?

I also suffer with depression. One bout put me in hospital. It was a very dark time. I could not put into words just how painful a time it was. Three things have really helped me, the right medication (it can take some time to find the right one), a loving family, and faith in a loving God. I'm now doing well but really need to keep close to these three things. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Much love :)

Thank you for your kind words. We're not on our own, many are struggling with depression. I do believe that the painful times in our lives can be used for good. I think that people with depression can be the most compassionate people out there. Your words convince me that you are such a person. Keep up the fight and God bless you :)

Hang in their kiddo. Just remember that the bad feeling will eventually pass. Are you being treated for depression? Have you spoken to your parents? Seeing a doctor?

That's sad. Do you get any bad thouhghts about hurting yourself? If you do, you really need to be speaking to someone about that.

That's a really good question. I was talking to someone else about that so I'll see if I can find my post and come back to you.

Religious people (in the bad sense of the word) focus on so called 'big' sins (homosexuality, murder etc...). But God sees all sin as sin. Lying is just as wrong in the eyes of God as homosexuality. Course language is just as punishable as murder. This is made clear in James 2:10, "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it." To receive the forgiveness that we all need, He doesn't ask us to do things, He just asks us to change the way we think, turn away from the wrong things we do and believe in His Son. By believing I mean that we accept that He was perfect, that He was the Son of God, that He took the punishment for out sins on the cross, and that He was resurrected. If we ask for forgiveness and believe in Jesus, that, in turn, changes us. Because of His sacrificial death (taking the punishment of our sins), if we believe in Him, all our sins are forgiven and we get to spend eternity with Him. If we believe in Jesus, God promises us that He will never punish us for our sins, because Jesus has already taken that punishment for us. In my mind, that's a good deal. I don't know about you, but I've done and said things in my past that I'm ashamed of (and I still blow it now and again).

... Jesus death on the cross shows us how much He loves us. He was willing to give us His only Son as a sacrafice for our sins so that He could love us and bless us forever :)

Sorry to hear that. Never good when people become angry and resort to yelling no matter what the reason is. What do you think you should do?

I think the way you are thinking about not giving in to his emotional blackmail is right. You should not give in to any presuure to do what you don't want to do. I find the best thing to do when people are clearly upset and angry is to say something like "You're obviously upset right now and I really don't like being yelled at so it's best we not talk about this now. Once you have calmed down we can talk about it." If you feel physically threatened you should tell someone who can help protect you. Once they have calmed down you can then let them know that you don't want the relationship to be anything more than friends and if they can't accept that, while it would make you sad, there would be no more contact.

Now, about your preference for girls, we talked about that briefly before. It's definately not what God wants you to do. He loves you deeply and does understand how difficult it is for you to avoid this area. I'd encourage you to share your struggles in this area with someone who you can trust and won't judge you. Also, talk to God about it and let Him know you need help. I can't promise it will be an easy win but I can promise you that God will help you (because that's what He promises). You can count on Him :)
