Medieval people were freaks. I have new respect for them.

Many of these represent a story in pictures, proverbs and life lessons etc, as pictures spoke louder than words (duh) to a mostly illiterate population. If the population ever got a chance to even look at a manuscript?
This was before the Reformation so probably not. I do think differently of them since I saw all these on Google Images. I mean, I've seen similar photos of manuscripts, but not as much as I have this week.
