haha... no the large MAJORITY of the Media, not every single entity... NBC, CNN (big time), MSNBC, NBC, CBS, etc... It might not be that she owns them, but maybe they own her... In any case there's an 'arrangement' or a 'club'...
I don't think it's a conspiracy in that there is collaboration between them to slant the coverage. I just believe that the kinds of people who get into journalism are naturally those who want to get into everyone else's business -- which makes them both good journalists and good leftists. Being able to sway opinions on a mass scale like that is heady stuff.
Most news anchors are in a high tax bracket -- it has less to do with what the anchors believe --- and what kinda product the people are buyin'. Fox sells soap -- dog food and medicine to conservative viewers --- MSNBC --- sells the same products to liberal viewers --- via commercials. Cuz -- they're businesses.
Weak-minded people will be influenced by left or right bias -- but -- again --- Fox News caters to the right -- and other news channels cater to the left --- these are for profit businesses ---- who sell advertising. Anyone who expects a seller of advertising to be -- 'unbiased' --- needs their head examined
I would not mind the bias if it was advertised as such. But both the left and the right try to position themselves as "neutral and objective". I abhor editorial content posing as factual reporting.
The original point should have been (or was intended to be) that there are far more left/democratic leaning news outlets in the 'main stream', than right ones -- not that there aren't both or how people should recognize either
