Jackie, picture yourself as a visitor to another planet. After a few days of studying the inhabitants, it becomes obvious that at some point in its history, said planet had been visited by a Deity of some sort Who did nothing but spread joy and help people to the point where He was loved and cherished by MILLIONS! Unfortunately, you also discover that a group of the planet's religious divines hunted the Visitor down and made an example out of Him by imprisoning, stoning, whipping and eventually putting Him to death because they felt threatened by His growing popularity. All this despite the fact that He did NOTHING WRONG! Now, nobody is demanding that you believe the Story or begin worshiping the beautiful Man of peace Who was savagely killed by horrible Religious leaders who had no intentions of forfeiting their power and wealth over a new and better Way. However, the fact remains that there are still billions of the planet's inhabitants who do in fact believe in, and WORSHIP, the Deity! Now it should be obvious by now that I am speaking of myself as one of those "inhabitants", and that i worship the very same One used by you in the above meme for a laugh! Dear, you have to understand that the word "Holy" is used so often in our society today, and in my personal estimation, it should only be used in its original context, which is in regards to the Almighty Creator and Father Whom we can read about in the Bible and other literature. Because i feel this way, and because i am what you may deem "fanatical", it cuts RIGHT TO THE QUICK when people ignorantly use Him as a means to invoke laughter, especially when there are cuss words involved!! I am not going to apologize to you. No way, NO HOW! If anything, i should probably leave this site and apologize to the One Who has been ridiculed and mocked here in so many memes! What I will do is ask to be excused for my harsh words to you when it is obvious that you knew not what you did! Oh sure, you can tell me that you are well aware of Christian history and that you know full well what you were doing when you created the above meme which appeared to have depicted the One known as Jesus the Christ using that damned swear word like He's nothing more than an average joe. But to me, there is no way you knew what you were doing, else you would NEVER have done so in the first place.Basically, I'm just explaining why I lashed out the way I did! I was asked to come here and apologize.
