It's been driving me crazy...

I was watching a film called "The Green Man" from 1956. There was a scene where a trio (piano, violin and double bass I think) played a classical song which I knew I had heard from an old computer game - I just don't know which one. I don't even know the name of the music - I've tried on YouTube but I can't find it. A lot of old computer games (early 80's) were made by guys in bedrooms so they used classical music as it was free from copyright. Every time I hear "Funeral March of a Marionette" (the theme from "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" - you'll know it when you hear it) I always think of a game called "Seamus 2" :)

I found this while waiting at the VA. Dunno if it helps but I don't have time right this second to look these up for use in games.

You're not missing out on much with the film. It was neither of the songs mentioned. It was only featured for about 10 seconds but I knew instantly I had heard it used in a game. Don't worry about trying to find it - the film doesn't have any real profile. It will come to me eventually - probably when I least expect it :)
