It's not in the episode that they're turning in HW by texting, but they are talking to him through Twitter.
It just made me think that eventually the teachers will teach through an app. Or something technologically pretentious like that.
This is another scene from the second episode that I thought was template worthy. He's saying "we have to ask ourselves, could my child be a troll" and the subject matter of the last two episodes could easily apply to imgflip. :{D
