President Obama has reduced the federal budget deficit every fiscal year since 2010. At this rate, we're on track for a balanced budget by the end of 2017.
You're also conducting a straw man attack on President Obama's firearms control policies. No Democrat at the federal level is currently proposing a blanket firearms ban. Doing so would be political suicide. The administration's firearms control proposals have been limited to renewing the expired federal assault weapons ban, implementing universal background checks, and prohibiting firearms purchases by anyone on the no-fly list. Personally, I approve of the first two, but that last one is a direct violation of the Constitution because being placed on the no-fly list does not qualify as "due process of the law" required to deprive a citizen of his rights.
