Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco. He was American, not Syrian.

His father was Syrian. Steve Jobs white maternal grandfather did not want Steve Jobs mother to stay with Steve Jobs Syrian father so she gave Steve Jobs up for adoption.

His father, Jandali, was a Syrian political science professor, and his mother, Schieble, worked as a speech therapist.

Born in America. He was an American. The end. That's how it works.

Regardless of how you feel, Steve Jobs was American, not Syrian. His people are Americans, not Syrians. These are the facts.

It's not my feeling. It's a fact in the dictionary.

I'm sorry, but you are not creating a valid argument. Steve Jobs was born in the United States of America to a Syrian father and American mother. That makes him American. Case closed.

If you really want to take it further, lets look at what Steve Jobs himself said:

Jobs would become upset when Paul and Clara were referred to as "adoptive parents" as they "were my parents 1,000%."[2] With regard to his biological parents, Jobs referred to them as "my sperm and egg bank. That's not harsh, it's just the way it was, a sperm bank thing, nothing more."[2] Jandali has also stated that "I really am not his dad. Mr. and Mrs. Jobs are, as they raised him. And I don't want to take their place.

Steve Jobs was an American, not Syrian.

Yes he is American of Syrian descent. And he inherited some of his intelligence from his smart educated Syrian father.

His people are Americans, not Syrians. That is that. He was born in America and raised by Americans. There is nothing to argue here.

DNA testing would disagree with you

DNA doesn't matter in this case, only the location of birth.

Steve Jobs was born in America. He was an American raised in America by American parents. His people are Americans.

This is how it works. There is not being influenced in any way through bias or opinion. Where you are born is your nationality. The people and community that raise you are your people. That's it.

This is the last time I am responding to you. It is plain to see that you are trying to make some sort of statement through this meme, and it is flawed.

His adoptive mother was Armenian American. Steve Jobs was fluent in Armenian. Steve Jobs took the Armenian genocide personally. He had more than just American influence.

Steve Jobs considered Mona Simpson one of his best friend. Mona Simpson, who had the same biological parents as Steve Jobs and was raised by them. I'm sure she influenced Steve Jobs, her brother.

After they met, Jobs forged a relationship with her, often visiting her in Manhattan, where she lived and still maintains an apartment. Theirs is a connection that, to this day, neither Jobs nor Simpson have discussed in the press, and now do so sparingly. ''My brother and I are very close,'' Simpson says. ''I admire him enormously.''

Jobs says only: ''We're family. She's one of my best friends in the world. I call her and talk to her every couple of days.''
