It's probably a bit of the coding for the site showing up.

Like how I was typing the "(click to show)" part when I didn't need to, and two show up.

Error may not be meant to be seen, but the owner is like "it's good enough for government work".

It does a 2 minute timer for you commenting twice on your own memes regardless of people dv'ing or uv'ing you.

Yeah, it would be nice if there was no timer for commenting on your own memes. And as far as the Error dialog goes, it would be a pretty simple thing to parameterize the dialog title, or to copy and paste the code into a new method, with a different dialog title (e.g. "Notification" or "Info"). Alas, it is true that "good enough" is often considered passing. That's the nature of software development I guess.

I don't hold it against the for not fixing that right away. This site is still amazing.

You could always try leaving feedback, but they get a shit ton.

And me neither :) I'm certain the dev(s) have much more important things to look at. I happen to work in software QA, so I just have an eye for these sorts of things, and tend to be pretty nit-picky ;) I agree that the site is amazing. I actually signed up for the Pro membership, just to contribute monetarily - I'm not sure that I'm taking advantage of any of the benefits, right at this point :)

Oh, duh! I do often remove the ImgFlip watermark, especially when making a meme template. And of course, I don't see the ads (although, I don't recall the ads as being particularly obtrusive, pre-Pro). However, it seems like the majority of the benefits of Pro are geared towards the creation of GIFs - which I'm definitely getting into.
