I don't think my boss knows that I sit out here and imgflip-it about 30% of the time, but if he did I don't think he'd care; I do a good job and keep a lot of stuff out of his hair. And one of the guys in our department has two computer monitors and one always has something non-work-related on it. They shoot the shit about sports about 30% of the time down there anyway. :P

Actually I was thinking of trolls , I didn't realize the amount of drama on here until I saw that thread and connected the dots, my reply memes usually disappear, and why am I getting views on unsubmitted memes, I thought it was just benign or glitches until I read all that.

Been going on for months. I didn't realize the site was a community for a long time, was just making them for blogs (and also to piss off a@@hats from high school and family, lol. )

Yeah. I don't know how they are viewing images before featured. I have a lot of views on mine before the feature. And even an upvote or two. So they disappear because they are being down voted before featuring, then go back in submission or worse, fall off completely.

Who would have the ability to even do that except mods . I've never had a conflict with anyone on here so who the heck would be trolling me. But why is the creeper question.

It's fun to get points for the sake of playing the game (it's another way to enjoy the site). If you're playing, you might as well jump in and play all the way. It's also a way to gauge (in a rough way) how people are responding to your material.

But I'm not sure how important they are. It's a good question. I think overall, the site would be just as enjoyable without keeping a record of users' points. I think I would still want to see votes on individual memes and comments to see how people are responding, though.
