Never tried that, but there is a different way as well. I used my way until a few weeks ago when I was helping a new user and So-crates also replied with the tip about 0 size font. 0 size font is easier than my old way.

Yeah, I found the zero size font trick on my own, but I'm sure there are others I've missed.

An extra hint, now that I know how to use custom colors for my fonts you'd never be able to find the proof with this method.

Ah, very clever sir! So you key in the smallest character possible (period), and then set both the font color and outline color to the same value, which you've color-matched to some color already in the image. Then you move the text box to that area of the image, where it will blend in. Not bad! The hoops we jump through, until we know better! :P
