Just keep in mind - mine got only 3 more upvotes than yours did ;) Once I upvote your post, it will be down to 2. Also note that we used different images and a different style (yours is a composite of several images). It's also significant that I made my meme from a built-in, site template. Yours, because of the work you did making a composite image, would have been considered a custom image or custom upload. These take longer to feature.

This is definitely mine, but I was talking about another meme - one that I have made years ago when I only first started Imgflip. That meme was possibly identical to yours... I'll probably never find it in my 'submissions' page... But as that meme was dead and buried for so long, but you made yours just recently, I will give you credit for this one. But as I was typing this, I had a thought... What if your really old and forgotten memes are automatically deleted? I'll have a look again at my submissions page to see if I can find it. I Upvoted your meme, BTW.

Oh wow. And thanks. Yeah, I don't think they get saved forever - especially ones with fewer views, upvotes, and comments. As with much regarding ImgFlip administration, I'm just not clear on the finer details ;) Anyway, it's definitely worth backing up or otherwise saving personal copies of your creations somewhere. As far as the meme goes, I suppose it's not too complex of an idea. It seems reasonable that more than one person could come by it on their own - that happens more than you might think, in general. To a large extent, our brains work alike :)

I heard of a theory that if somebody thinks of something, another person will think of the same thing. The guy who thought of this did an experiment - he went on two islands inhabited by monkeys. The monkeys on both islands didn't know how to crack coconuts. The guy taught one island of monkeys how to crack coconuts, and a week later, both islands can crack coconuts!

Hmm, that sounds pretty crazy. Did another guy think to do the same thing as that guy, and run the experiment too? :D

who knows? and yes, that does sound crazy. the moral for this story is to always patent your ideas!

Yeah, I have searched on "face" and "rage face," in the templates. Lots of variations! Not sure I've heard of "Backtrolled" though - will have to check that one out. Thanks for sharing the info!
