I was pretty much waiting for someone to say that :) Technically, not all those who rise from the dead are zombies. But, say He was a "zombie." This would mean that He "knows the zombie mind," which would make Him a better zombie killer / survivor, right? ;D

Lol. Oh my goodness. I played so much Fallout 3. I also played a ton of the first two, from Interplay, which were third-person isometric games. Two of the best video games of all time, laying the foundation for one of the best video game franchises of all time. Gotta love the post-apocalypse!

I've never played the old ones but I want to. Suffice it to say I wasn't crazy about Fallout 4. I even made a snap decision to buy an Xbox one I couldn't really afford just to play it the day it came out. Had I not been so impulsive I would have bought a PlayStation ????

That's definitely a bummer - though I've never been a Playstation guy and feel like the Xbox One is a good console (this has nothing to do with the fact that I used to work for Microsoft and won my Xbox One in a Holiday Party drawing :D). In other words, I wouldn't regret the purchase too much :) In any case, I didn't latch on to Fallout 4 either, at least, not like I did 3. Fallout 3 stayed true to the look / theme / mood / feel / atmosphere / ambience of the first two, which was pretty amazing (even reusing or more likely duplicating sound effects from the originals). If you do end up playing the first two, so much will feel familiar, right from the get-go.

Most of my friends are on PlayStation :(

Ah, I see. I have exactly 2 friends on Xbox Live. I met both of them while playing Dark Souls 2. That is pretty much the extent of my online community gaming. Having grown up playing PC games before the accessibility and ubiquitousness of the Internet, I think I became institutionalized to the Single Player Experience. Playing online is an absolute blast, but there's just no substitute for a really awesome single-player campaign.

I'm so bad at dark souls lol. I want to play old games and I'm not very computer savvy so I bought a raspberry pi. I can't get the damn thing to work with my 360 controller like I was promised it would. I'm about to take every electronic device I own, bring it to a friend that's smarter than me and say make one of these things play everything from metroid to half life or I'm going to go ape shit.

I should have jumped more than one level. Running out of space again... Actually, I no longer work at Microsoft. And Microsoft is so huge, even I would have had to go through the typical support channels. That's crazy about your friend's account though. There's a good chance though that the account is still there, just deactivated. If he can prove to them that he is who he says he is, maybe they can just reactivate it. He probably had some downloaded games that he can't play now, since his box can't sync to the account :/

I understand regarding the laptop ;) Sounds like the upgrade to an MSI will be really nice!

"Go ape shit," Hahahahahaa! I can totally see this happening, lol... Anyway, never played Dark Souls. But I did log 400+ hours in Dark Souls 2, and that has to be the most punishing video game I've ever played. And despite being a Computer Scientist, I know very little about the Raspberry Pi. Seems a little too good to be true, based on everything I've heard. Hopefully your tech-savvy friend can get it all figured out for you, so you don't have to abandon modern society and go live somewhere "off the grid" ;P And I played countless hours of Metroid 2 on the original Gameboy - never beat it, never even came close. Just kept getting lost in a maze. Spiderball was awesome, though! :D

Cool maybe I can mail you my laptop and you can send it back with all the emulators a girl could ask for. Jk my friends don't even feel like doing it lol.

Say you actually might be able to help me. I have a friend who's Microsoft account just deleted itself or something. I didn't ask details. All I know is that he lost a lot of money and game play and he's really upset. I'll have to ask him about it next time I see him and then come back and bother you.

I'm having to jump up a level because we exhausted our replies on that previous sequence. Anyway, if your friends know how to install those emulators and get the games or ROMs or whatever they are, you should keep hassling them :D I'd be glad to help, but I doubt you'd want to mail your laptop to a stranger ;P Tell me what make and model it is, however, along with what games you're looking to play, and I can see about doing some research. Maybe it's not as difficult as it seems. Some of these older games might be downloadable from Steam, if you wanted to look into that.

Oh no it's too embarrassing. It's a piece. I didn't buy a nice laptop because I thought my ex would destroy it downloading porn. All I'll say is that it's an hp. I'll let you know when I get my msi ;)
