Remember when online gamers used to talk to each other?

Yup, now everyone is in party chat, so even if you try to coordinate anything strategy-wise you're really only talking to maybe 2 or 3 other people.

and theres a 20/80 percent chance of them responding anyway and sometimes you have those trolls who just run in and die and you know they're doing it on purpose its just a fckfest sometimes
and when I'm in a party chat I still confer with the other people in game I never leave people out

so what, Barrens Chat is no longer a thing? still, see plenty of chatter in the games i play often

No idea what Barrens Chat is. Talking about Xbox Live, they basically killed off team chat/room chat when they introduced party chat.

Barrens Chat is a regional channel in WoWarcraft and was notoriously full of all kinds of banter. a quick look on google tells me that most of the trolls have migrated to the Trade channels in cities however.
