Yup. That's true. But if people are going for the next point milestone, they're likely to use their submissions! Also they might think that making a meme asking for upvotes will do better than a normal meme. Which might sound pretty silly, but then again memes asking for upvotes seem to do okay on imgflip for some reason. :)
