"Phobic" by defenition means a fear of something.

Unfortunately it's correct usage.

Homophobic is a word the far left intolerant call those with differing opinions of homosexuality, because how dare anyone disagree with your leftist views.

I actually had a very well done meme regarding this very topic. I had my girlfriend proof it, but she said it was inaccurate because phobia does, in fact, cover hatred (she works in the medical field with people who have mental disabilities). Sorry to prove you wrong, I think it's dumb as well.

The meme I was going to make basically said we should call "homophobes" gayists or LGBTists or whatever that community thought was best, because using homophobe is too soft of a word.

I stand corrected but with one correction--the whole Islam/sharia law thing--I truly do not hate them. I hate what they are practicing and believe that they are deceived. Thanks for letting me know. :)

I will agree with with on hardline sharia law. I know the U.S. Justice system has its flaws, but sharia law is stuck hundreds of years in the past.
