I saw that scrap you had with tets. I thought your posts were probably the most knowledgable and clear representation of a debate as I've seen on here and applaud you for not stooping to his level. You were honest and asked questions, the problem with these guys is they're not the questions they want asked and would rather call you names and mock you than get into a clear debate about the issues. Thanks. I've been debating Conservatives for nearly 2 decades on Usenet. Was just able to finally access my Usenet account a few days ago after a year. Even my normal haters hate Trump. It came about when I started shooting down the emails they sent out.

I write and edit a progressive page on Facebook. In fact, I left one page last week and just mentioned it in passing in a political group I'm in. Im now working on a start up page.

The Hillary supporters have pretty much been the same. I don't know where you stand on the choices, if either one gets elected, I'll do just like I did when the Bushes got in office: I'll survive. Same as Trump or Hillary: I'll survive. But my vote won't go to either one.

My psychological profile on Tets is incomplete, but what he's revealed of himself puts him in line with the the average Trump supporter. I'd say that if you went back 1 to 3 generations, you'll find a staunch Dixiecrat. He may have a high school diploma, maybe even a trafe school in his background, but certainly not a college education. Blue collar worker, but not the brightest of his bunch among his peers. I'm not dissing his livelyhood. I spent too many years on factory floors to do that.

Yes, I do love a good debate. I had another debate with another member a while back. He wasn't happy I was going to "waste my vote" but overall, he was respectful.

Wouldn't matter. I don't vote in Mexican elections. But if I did a a presidential candidate proposed such a wall, I might call him racist, although xenophobic would be the proper term. You wouldn't happen to have a picture of the wall between Mexico and Guatamala, would you?

That is a private wall erected by a private conglomerate, Grupo Mexico. They are involved in a lot of large scale businesses, including Railroads. The Mexican government had no part in its construction other than issuing the permits needed. When they requested the permits they used the reason to protect their property, including their trains, from vandals, including those that illegally hitch a ride. But Mexico has not built a wall. Instead, they have border security, not unlike our own. What border security does when they capture a refugee???

As for THIS wall, did you notice where it was located? Tlaxcala isn't along the border, but in central Mexico. That would be like building a wall in Missouri to keep the flow of refugees from entering the country; or at least, putting the wall along the Texas-Oklahona border.

I used Google maps and Google Earth to check out the border. I saw a lot of mountain roads, but no walls. The terrain is rough enough. I wouldn't want to Trek it.

So where is this border wall? There might be fences near check points, but actual walls? We already have walled off more border in Arizona than Mexico is planning on doing.

Thanks. I do enjoy a good debate, but I'm not familiar with Teamspeak. During election years I'm extremely busy as I just left one progressive page and am starting another. Yes, I'm a political pundit, among other things. I have to keep from being bored.

The fence, yes. I can see that, but it won't keep refugees from coming here. The initial fence in Arizona, one group tried to pass if off as being the wall between Guatamala and Mexico, was filmed by a nature photographer to show its impact on wildlife. He commented to his guide that the fence keeps out illegal immigrants, but impedes the natural territory of wildlife like the javalina he'd just filmed. His guide pointed to a nylon rope hanging on the fence, stating it doesn't stop those that want here bad enough.

The emails? You think I'm not aware of them. All they did was validate what Bernie supporters had said all along.

No, I'm not a Trump supporter, but I'm also not a Hillary supporter. I'm progressive, which Hillary is not. She's, at best a moderate Republican.

Where do i I stand? If Jill Stein were elected, I'd be ecstatic. If Gary Johnson were elected, while not thrilled, I'd give him the thumbs up and hope for the best. I could live with it. Trump or Hillary? What choice but other than survive. Unless either one of them turns the country in the right direction, whoever gets the oval office will be a one term president.

Illegals coming in from South of the border? Not worried about them asuch as the reason they come here. Businesses hire them because they can skirt their social contract with America. Sure, they come here and get jobs. That wouldn't happen if businesses didn't hire them. Once that is taken care of, then the problem will clear itself up.
