I have seen post timing mentioned in comments. Any insight?

Using established templates can get a meme posted at the end of the next hour. Custom templates seem to only be released at certain times of the day, and can take longer to be approved by the mods. I'd say don't submit after midnight, but i'm pretty sure the "I got 100 points" meme came out after then.

I try to submit mine so that they come out either in the morning, or the early afternoon (Eastern Standard time). But I don't know how much of a difference it actually makes.
