go to the image page and click Edit

You can't edit the title once you've submitted it. If you're making a new image, you have to click the middle "Go to image page button." If you're doing from "My Images" from your profile, you have to click the picture to open the image page, then you'll have the option to "Edit Image" "Submit Image" or "Delete Image." Once you're on that page you can also add different tags in the Tags box so others can find your images through searches.

Just a minor correction - you can't edit the title after the meme has featured, but you can edit the title and tags after you've submitted it.
