LOL, under Bush we had an average 5.24% unemployment rate, a AAA+ credit rating, and respect from our enemies worldwide.

The left took over Congress in 2007 and the Presidency in 2009 and everything went to hell in a handbasket in 4 years ... we're STILL struggling after 8 years.

The Bush administration turned a Surplus into a several trillion deficit and effectively put two wars onto federal credit cards that only started being paid off at the beginning of the Obama administration.
Things don't go 'to hell in a handbasket' 10 seconds after a failed policy is passed or when you pay for things on credit, they can often cover one or more administrations before the effects multiply or the payback begins.
You're basically arguing that your finances are shit because someone else handed you your credit card bill after using it..
