Nah, I'm not keeping up with any of Disney's fan fics except Rebels. And even that is pissing me off with the Lucas/EU bashing.

I hated the U-wing. It's like they think anything will do. All the ships in TFA sucked except the Falcon, and so far, RO is following the same path.

There are great artists on Deviantart who know the EU and films, and they make better ships than Disney/Hollywood.

The Ghost(CEC VCX-100 Freighter) from rebels is the only thing I've seen them do that looks good. It's actually a mix between old Star wars Gamer files on VCX freighters and the Narcissus(the ship Ripley escapes in at the end) from Alien.

I just wish Disney would release a deck layout or cross section of the full interior. Or at least show it. :{

I watched it about a half hour ago and my heart is still racing...just from one second of footage lol. There's some great imagery in there too. Hopefully the Rebels crew and ghost appears in it as a surprise.

I just watched it and it made me more pissed at Disney.

It must be Chiang ripping off Nausicaa/warriors of the wind with the designs(if he's still involved) that four winged shuttle looks too much like the ships in that anime, as did the droid landing craft and MTT in TPM.

The only thing I liked is Alan Tudyk's droid character. He's like a calmer HK from KOTOR. And he's an obvious Dark Trooper precursor. He's a lot like Proxy too.

They showed Dark Troopers in the Rebels Season 3 trailer too.

And Kyle Katarn is involved with the destruction of the Arc Hammer, the Dark Trooper production ship.

I think I know what second you're talking about. Vader? Right? Is it just me, or did he seem short?

And the Death Star is supposed to be assembled in the Maw cluster. AND they were making several of them to help control the galaxy. Not just one.

The samurai is still bothering me. That's way too Earth/Real world for Star wars. I thought Embo in Clone wars was pushing it. But Rogue One dude is totally a walking cliche.

The U-wing is still lame. And even more so after seeing it's not a starfighter but a troop carrier like Leia's tacky modded B-wing in TFA.

The only way they can salvage their fan fics is by starting over. :{

I guess the thinking was that Vader got used to his "new limbs" by the time of his duel with Luke. But in the rumor they were also talking about his overall power being diminished also to explain why he went from manhandling Kanan in Rebels to struggling against Obi-Wan. The real reason is like you said, they just hadn't yet incorporated the martial arts element to lightsaber duels. It could help continuity's sake for new fans, but it was just a rumor though, could turn out to not be the case.

Transhumanism is sickening to me. Replacement limbs like Vader is one thing, but I'm worried about the future. I'm not a Christian or really believe in a God per se. My dad became a Jehovah's Witness when I was little after my parents split up and that kind of ruined religion for me I guess. I believe in spirtuality and try to look at the good from all religions (except Islam), and keep an open mind. I like Native American culture and their connection to nature. I think the teachings of Jesus are a good code to follow, whether or not the bible is true.

I think humanity is going down a dark path with AI and transhumanism. I just watched a video on the Anonymous page showing a simple "AI" (mostly just a program that gets it's info from the net) hooked up to a realistic looking body talking about putting the guy interviewing him into a "people zoo".

I didn't see anything in ANH that made Vader look like he was struggling. If you mean the two actors portraying them, that's all in the real world. Not the in-universe story.

New fans will be smart enough to get that it's the actor's age and the period it was filmed in.

I think it's stupid and disrespectful for Disney to try to go and retcon Lucas like that.

And again, there is no continuity problems in the OT regarding Vader's abilities.

The fight only looks that way on film. If a new fan reads the novelizations they'll understand.

I was brought into Star wars in 1990, trust me, it wasn't like I was thinking Vader the character was struggling, I always knew it was the age of Guinness and the strength of Prowse clashing.

The fight coordinator actually admits this in the dvd.

And Vader has training droids. He could have always just trained for his fight with Luke.

Nah, it's cool. One user was arguing with me about Islam, and told me that he was a Christian and that I was going to hell because "Jesus wouldn't like people bashing Islam", so I think I told him I didn't think he was a good Christian for saying thinking that. And then the other dude who's been trolling me, I was just pointing out his hypocrisy because he said he's a new found Christian, but has been acting like a douche and thinking that he can can because he would "just be forgiven". I think that's a f**ked up train of thought and detrimental to society. OMG that's dumb. Cybernetic limbs are as good if not better than the originals in Sw. Vader is slow in the OT films because they were filmed in the 70's before all the martial arts stuff got big. There's no need to call more attention to that by retconning an injury.

And think about the Force Unleashed. Vader is slow at times, faster at others. Like YODA. lol They reserve their strength at times.

Look at the fight between Obi and Vader in ANH compared to Vader fighting Luke in the next two. Vader got faster as the films went along.

I haven't seen Automata. Chappie is predictable AF. But if you're a Christian or just believe in God, go into it prepared to see a film trying to convince you that transhumanism is "human evolution" and necessary.

The film mocks God in many ways. And there are several Baphomet symbols throughout it.

I've noticed there aren't many good films anymore. Boondock Saints 2 was good, and I hope BDS3:Legion is untouched by the Hollywood machine.

Interstellar was good. But mainly because of the No time for Caution scene and song. Gargantuan, the blackhole, was beautifully done too. But the whole overpopulation and green agenda in it sucked. And MATT DAMON sucked. lol He played the Martian twice apparently.

If you like zombie films, may I suggest The Dead, and the Dead2: India. To me, these two zombie films out-did Romero. And that shocks me as Romero is my favorite zombie film writer/director.

Hobbies are a great way to deal with anything that's bothering you. Video games and collecting are my favs.

I saw the Funko Tyrion at a comic shop...if I remember correctly it was the same price as the others and I thought that was bullshit lol (no offense to Peter Dinklage). I got that Tyrion DH statue and a Tyrion pop bobblehead there. I've seen the FF figures there too. There's a statue piece of Dany and Drogon I want to get next, and the DH Jaime.

Did you stream the last season of rebels on amazon or youtube? I'm assuming you don't have the disney channel lol. I bought the season pass on amazon (actually had to buy TWO season passes for the same season for some f**ked up reason) and watched on the amazon app on my xbox.

The episodes weren't available to stream until a day after they aired on disney though, so I was wondering if you knew if youtube lets you watch as soon as they air.

I don't know the reason for the day wait on amazon, probably disney's way of trying to force people to get the disney channel I guess. It's bullshit though. Game of Thrones episodes were available to stream on the HBO app live.

And I want them to show more of the interior of the Ghost. I need to see the cargo holds and the engine room, plus whatever's in the four rooms in the upper hall in front of the Phantom. And I'm wondering if they have a "fresher" on the ship. :{

If season 3 is the final season, do you think Maul will be killed, and by whom? I'd say Vader kills him, but there was that mysterious cloaked dude in the first RO trailer that kinda looked like Maul.

It'd be cool if they end up doing an Obi-Wan film and having them duel again.

I hope they do a standard 7 seasons.

I think if they kill Maul, it will have to be Kanan or Ezra.

They show in one of the S03 trailers that Maul continues to harass the crew. He even forces Kanan out an airlock. I think he captures the Ghost and crew, and forces Ezra to unlock the holocron some more.

I know Ezra opens it a little at the end of S02, but maybe he needs a second person like the rule of two thing they did, to open it fully.

But they show Maul in a plain black tee and him escorting Kanan away from Ezra.

I think they should do the Obi Wan fight. And really, Obi Wan should finish him off. Cut him down the middle, bisecting him. Let's see him survive that.

I saw some Obi Wan concepts, so maybe they will.

Did you notice how the Ghost changes it's external appearance between S01 and S02? Like how the front section gets a piece lopped off and the proton torpedo tubes added? And the rear gets these 6 circles added and a section lopped off. I assume the 6 circles are escape pods or the seals that attach the section they removed back on. :{

If you look at ANH Millennium Falcon and the ESB onward, you'll notice that Han adds two extra landing gear modules.

The CEC ships are all modular and easily modified.

So I think it's Hera getting better weapons from the Alliance.

I do hope the Solo film shows him and Dengar in a swoop race that scars Dengar. I could see Simon Pegg playing Dengar in live action. Makeup to make him look like a cross between John Wayne and Johnny Cash, and he'll be under a hefty armor suit, so he could do it. He already voiced him in CW.

I think Jyn should be his gf. They can do RO without mentioning Han, but in the Solo film have him mention her. And that's why he likes Leia. She reminds him of her.

Chewie will be in the Han anthology film...makes me shudder thinking about some other actor playing Han.

Not condoning anything Disney, but Chris Pratt could do it. I could see him as Solo after seeing him as Starlord and that guy in Jurassic World. But I'm thinking he needs to be a younger actor.

I still think with Chewie being over 200, married with children, and having fought in the Clone Wars with Yoda, that they could make a movie about Chewie. The Chewie film could lead up to the Han story they do.

And Lando. Those books they did for his backstory are pretty good. They could show Lando's adventures before Han and Chewie.

The Obi movie should be Obi interacting with Jabba. Like Jabba knows he's on Tatooine and he blackmails Obi Wan into doing some "jobs". We could see live action Obi Wan in Mandalorian armor. Obi Wan has to find a way out though. They could have Jabba's son in it too. And Asoka should show up in live action. The chick who does her voice could play her. :{

A "young" Han is probably the thing that pisses me off the most. I'm interested about the story a young Han film could provide but I mean Han was already young when we first saw him so to me it'll just feel like someone playing Harrison Ford instead of Han Solo.

Whatever they do, they better have live action Rebels characters at some point. I just realized the Kanan 6" figure is already out. Looks awesome.

Han's 29 in ANH, so I can see a younger(18-29 years old) actor portray the character.

And to me, Harrison Ford is no great actor, it's just the writing of the character that's great. Harrison is really just copying John Wayne types.

I saw the 6" figures and yeah they look great. But I could buy 3 sirloin steaks for the same price. That should illustrate how over-priced they are. :{

Even assuming he's 18 in the film, I just think that because the age is so close, he'll have to play Harrison playing Han Solo, where as Ewan could bring his own acting to the character because of the age gap. I know they won't follow the Han Solo books, but seeing as how they like taking EU material and calling it their own, he'll probably be around 20-22. Wasn't that his age when he was a stormtrooper and saved Chewie?

But that is all Ewan did. He studied Alec's performance and emulated it. Same with whoever plays Han.

I think Han was in his early 20's too. The film should show his youth, then his Imperial service, how he gets kicked out for saving Chewie, then how he gets the Falcon.

I think they can find an actor to play him well, but knowing Disney they'll just screw that up. :{

Ewan did study Alec and emulate him, but I mean he had more liberties and he was able to bring some of his own acting choices to the character and make young Obi "his own" as well.

I can't think of anyone known who I would like. Hopefully they can find an unknown who can pull off the character and also resembles Harrison as much as Adam Driver. And he needs to have a smokin' hot girlfriend.

That's kind of robbin' the cradle for Han to date Sabine. Eww. :{P

Adam Driver doesn't really look like Ford to me.

I like the guy who plays Daredevil on netflix though, Charlie Cox, he's not the right actor to be Han though.

The Rogue One character is Han's girlfriend in the Han Solo Trilogy. They should have him TIE in with that. See what I did there?

But I doubt that Han's even mentioned in Rogue One.

I'd like to see it be an American though, that's for f**king sure. Disney/HW has a bad habit of hiring foreigners for American roles and it's getting really f**king annoying. Andy Lincoln is great, so is Charlie Cox, but they really need to stop saturating the American media's market with foreigners. They don't saturate foreign media with American actors like that. :{
