I'm not 100% sure of the arrangement, but it appears that imgflip and reddit (maybe owned by the same parent company?) reached some sort of agreement where users of reddit can use imflip to post directly to reddit. That's how on the first page of Newest an image can be viewed 300+ times within 10 minutes of being posted. I'm assuming part of the agreement was that the reddit posts receive the best spots on the newest pages...why? Beats the f**k out of me. When it's attributed to "Redditor" they never actually use the site and reply to any comments. If there's an actual username associated with a reddit post it doesn't bother me one bit, but that seems to be the exception, not the rule.
