Ugh. Sorry. My parents divorced, but my dad took custody . I know my sister had several properties (military) and she had to really chose where/when to file because of the laws being different in each state.
But... Either way, with three kids, mine can't afford it.

It's always awesome when you find the right person. My girlfriend and I agree that we're going to get married, but since I haven't officially proposed I guess she isn't technically my fiancé yet?

Well, you are not getting any younger. :) we r going on 15 years.... i really do not believe in divorce- just ups and downs.

Same thing here with my parents... My mom was in HS!
I have to say, get ready, it really doesn't hit you till you have your own kids(assuming you don't already) how f'ed up leaving your kids and family really is. Does that make sense?
