The point is you can't just not have feelings for someone. There has to be a reason you don't have feelings for someone. Either you are unattractive to them, or there is some quality in you they can't accept.

mmm no really, as a woman, i can tell you that there are guys i have known that quite simply have not have a sexual connection with. they have been close friends at the time but there is just not the chemistry to take it to another level. "chemistry" being either the actual physical chemistry between two people or being stupid enough to get drunk, have sex and feel either guilty or pressured enough to try and make a relationship out of it.

If you figure out how someone can remove that quality that makes them just a friend, rip it out, beat the ever loving hell out of it, and set it on fire, let me know.

If you are interested in a woman, don't be friends first. Most women like confidence. Show your interest right away. I am 49 and I had 3 boyfriends in high school and 4 serious relationships since. None have been with guys who were friends first. I can't think of any of my girlfriends who had a friendship turn into a relationship either.

This may be the best advice I have ever received. I'll remember that.

or you could just like...take the hint that she has her reasons that probably don't represent all women in the world, and just get on with your life rather than pestering her about something that won't make her change her answer..
