Yeah... It's a shame that it's still considered "brave". Although it's hardly made the front pages so that's some kind of progress I suppose.

Some people would call it brave. It's probably from back when a famous person coming out was headline news and could have an impact on their career. Now it's pretty much met with a shrug. Which is how it should be.

Maybe people just couldn't upvote a meme that was about watching Twilight instead of The Godfather?

I didn't say I liked them. There was a "Twilight Tuesday" recently where they showed all the films in order. I figured I'd watch them after seeing so many memes about them. I can see the appeal they have - being forever young with the person you love is probably what everyone has dreamed of at some point.
