I actually teach adults about manipulation-- I often preface with, "We all manipulate to some degree. Some people just get paid more to do it: Politicians, Lawyers, Doctors, Insurance Agents, are just a few. The stereotypical street manipulator just gets paid a lot less than the aforementioned, and in that exact order."
