She's very good-looking for sure, but then again so's Daisy Ridley and I thought she was absolutely awful in Episode 7 so you never know.

I think I would almost be more interested in Disney making these kinds of movies (sci-fi action) if they didn't put the "Star Wars" brand on them, because it makes me think in a jaded way that it's all about cashing in. That doesn't mean there won't be any good parts about the movie - but it affects how I watch them.

I don't really think about it that way since these movies would be getting made if George Lucas stilled owned Lucasfilm. He wanted sequels to ep 7-9, and also spinoffs like Rogue One.

If you didn't like Daisy, you probably wouldn't like my collection that I showed to Tets. :D

I hear what you're saying, about how they'd still be made if George Lucas owned Lucasfilm. And that makes sense to a degree. But to me it's still different. I'd find it harder to be jaded about George Lucas. I know he's quite smart with the cash aspect of it too, but it's not the only reason. He also loves the stories. So with him, I know it's both. With Disney on the other hand, I'm not convinced that the people they hire love the stories. Although hopefully I'm wrong about that for Rogue One.

That's true. George didn't make the movies solely for profit, he made them because he wanted to make good movies for people to enjoy, while Disney's main motive is profit.

The good thing is that while Lucasfilm may be owned by people who only care about profit at Disney, there's still people working at Lucasfilm hired by George himself, who still care about making good films and honoring George's vision.

I hear what you're saying. I just don't want to get my hopes up too high. :)

Just saw the new trailer. I thought it was terrible! :(

The first trailer makes the movie look a lot more interesting than the new one does (although getting a glimpse of Vader in it was cool).
