Memes spread a lot of false information and a lot of people believe them. Sorry, but inaccurate memes are perpetuating a lot of ignorance.

Most memes are meant to be jokes and not taken literally. There have been some users that seem to take everything a meme says literally and not willing to see the joke behind it. Your comment makes you seem like you are one of those people.
I like memes that make a joke or try to make a point - hell I make a lot, myself. However, a good number of them are trying to make a political point with data that is either partially true or totally untrue.

By all means pick and choose your battles. If it's a subject you're familiar with and you know the facts add a comment. Some memes I stay away from if I don't know much about the subject. Remember it's not just what you say it's how you say it. There's some users on this site that start commenting on the same issue and and after a few comments it's like, "Let's get ready to rumble!"
