But just keep in mind the user didn't necessarily put that word on the meme. When you use a template from imgflip it automatically puts the name of the template as a tag on the meme, and if you don't change the title, it's the default title as well.
So if your objection is primarily to the use of the word "retard," your objection is to the person who uploaded the template (not necessarily the same person who made the meme).
