You're wrong. Your body will burn fat when you alter the intake and your body wants more than what you are putting in. How do you decrease fat without losing or burning? That really is an illogical statement. My body absorbed the fat for fuel which means it burned it.

Fact is if you want to eat junk and keep off weighy you'll need to exercise. Or else you'd have to pretty much diet your whole life which is implausible

It's still off and will never come back as long as I stay with what I'm doing. I eat healthy and in sensible portions. Anyone can lose weight and don't have to "diet" you have to change THE diet to good food. Just cutting out most bread and sugary stuff made the most change. I can still eat all day but just healthy foods.

Seriously, I'm not a person who believes in "fat shaming" but you don't say "I'm gonna go lose weight" and then just cut out your McDonald's intake and sit on your ass. All you're doing is decreasing the weight you're adding on, not losing it. Sure you might lose a tiny bit of weight from wiggling around looking for the remote, but that probably won't even bring you down 1kg.

I suggest this plan to go with a diet:

Get off of your fat ass, put on some sweats and go jog until you think you're gonna puke. That's a bit "extreme" for someone just starting to exercise, but when you won't make a conscious effort to help yourself that's when you become hopeless.

Exactly. People can't expect to be lazy and then think that will get them what they want. In order to lose weight in a way that will impact them positively need to both diet and exercise. I agree with you.

It's so annoying to see all these people falling for these crappy programs: "Eat whatever you want, don't exercise, and still lose weight!!" -yeah, ok

Yea, i mean anything you want in life you have to work for it. How you gonna lose weight if you dont work it off, you might lose a little but not any that would improve your appearance.

Basic medical science has proven repeatedly that taking in fewer calories than you burn in a day will result in weight loss. Exercise is not necessary at all to lose weight and keep it off. You burn calories just sitting on your ass all day. As long as you eat below that amount, you will lose weight.

It also has nothing to do with what you eat. You can gain weight eating a diet of nothing but boiled chicken and steamed broccoli if you eat too much of it every day. And you can lose weight eating nothing but deep fried ice cream if you eat too little of it every day. The science is in. The point is well-known and proven.

I can't believe anyone feels a need to argue about this. Facts are facts, now shut the hell up.
