Been playing Final Fantasy Tactics of late. Beating the last battle in Chapter 1 was SATISFYING.

Haven't played Tactics in a looooong time. I think my ps1 days were mostly spent on Silent Hill and Digimon World 2 or 3. I still have the disc, but my PlayStation is shot.

I do remember the gameplay, and I liked it's sort of Fire Emblem-esque tactical RPG style, but nothing as far as story goes.

Maybe I should just get an emulator, seeing as I still have the game.

Do you have a PSP or a Vita? There's a remake called "Final Fantasy Tactics: War of Lions." It has a MUCH better translation and I, for one, understand the story so much better than the PS1 version. In fact, when I played the PS1 version, I didn't really understand the story very well. The only disadvantage War of the Lions has is that the effects are really slow. The game has also been restored to the original Japanese version's difficulty; however, I like that and personally, aside from the Argath fight, I'm not finding it very hard.

I indeed have a PSP, modded because hooray for piracy. I'll hit Emuparadise tomorrow, get the ISO.

Err... well... if it's still on sale, it's only $5 off PSN. o.o

PSN doesn't service modded devices, though. I learned that when I tried to buy Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. If I had a clean PSP then I'd buy it.
