A little help?...

I meme on my phone too. You can meme comment with other templates only if you use the right search word where it says "search memes" otherwise, I download pics to my phone off the net before I make my comment, then when I go to make a meme comment, hit "upload your image" bar and it will say "choose file", press "documents", then it should take you to your phones "downloads" pick your pic, then "upload" and bingo! You have your own custom template to work with. Give it a try n let me know if it works. Thats the best I got for you, good luck n meme away my friend, meme away!

No worries bud, oddly enough I can only download pics if i'm on imagflip, I download pics for reference for my work too, and I gotta be on imgflip for that. And yes sometimes the pic you choose is not an image just a file, are you on I phone? It may be different, I'm on galaxy 6s. It took me long while to figure it out, and I was too afraid to ask, and look like an idiot, which on this site is not true, most people here are pretty cool and willing to help out new users. Trust me, I aint no compooter whizz either. Just practice and hope it works.

you have to have them saved to your phone in your pictures folder and then use "Upload your own image" or save them to my templates.

Ive tried to upload my fotos, but imgflip keeps saying " no image selected"...

I mostly use my PC. Try saving to my templates. It is the tab over from the popular templates.

I do that with the templates I use most often. Alotta times some of the pics I download are one shot deals.

I think my phone is " mentally challenged"... I dont have a pc, i just got this phone a few months ago, so im new at this " technology" stuff! Thanks for the help, i'll keep trying to figure out how this thing works...and i'll keep feeling like a caveman with a lazer gun in the mean time...

So ....
1st. Search in Bing or google, select images, select the picture you want, once it is selected, press your finger to the image and hold it, a menu should get pulled up giving you options such as save, share etc.

2nd. To upload to image flip,
Go to create meme,
Select choose file (It's underneath the default template)
Your phone should give you s n option menu,
Select either Gallery, photos, pictures, etc.
Select the meme,
Press done or ok,
Once you are back to the default image flip screen, with the default template
Press upload.

Now if you want to save a template off of img flip,

You have to have some text to save,
Simply use a " ."
Select more options ( below the text)
Turn the 50 to 0,
This will hide the "."

So you can only use the popular memes to comment UNLESS you save a template to your phone and upload it as I've shown you above.

You just have to generate the blank meme you want, press and hold the meme, save, then go three the upload thing. Get it? If you don't message me and i can help you further. Welcome to img flip!!
