No, it depends on the mirrors. Most are a silver tint, not green.

The green tint is a cheap mirror. Like a handheld. A wall mirror tends to be silver coated and thus a silver tint.

It also has to do with what type of glass the mirrors have.

I think you're assuming more than proving on this. But it's still a funny meme dude. :{

Ah, maybe all I ever see are cheap mirrors then! XD Everywhere I looked online said common wall mirrors are tinted green, and all the photos I looked at showed a green tint, that paired with my experience and a youtube 'science' video made me assume that green was the main color.

I watched the same video I think. A bearded dude with glasses right?

Most mirrors have a silver backing and if you used clear blue glass you'd have mainly a silver tint with a possibly visible tinge of blue.

If you used a clear green glass, you'd have the green tinge.

And those videos and the articles are all that person's experience of the mirrors. Some people are color blind or don't see at the same exact spectrum like another person.

So, it's really a matter of personal opinion.

I see in most mirrors the silver, but like already mentioned, in smaller handheld mirrors, I've noticed the green too.

But for me, overall, most mirrors have a silver tint. :{

I don't remember exactly who made the video, saw it at least a year ago. I think it was probably VSauce, who is bearded and has glasses.

Now I want to try to find a silver mirror just so I can see it. :P

That's the video I saw too! lol I like those videos, but I hate how many videos try to force us to reimagine our worldviews. It's like, figure it out better the first time dudes!

Try a furniture store and their larger mirrors. They tend to have silver backing. I think carnival mirrors are the same. :{

Also, the reason you just stated of not liking science channels, is why I have unsubscribed to most science channels. Might I suggest: Smarter Every Day, the guy who does those is Christian, but doesn't try to shove his religion down your throat like some science teachers of some OTHER religions. :/
