( I'm a Boston Bruins guy myself in spite of the fact that Buffalo is right down the NYS Thruway from me). Anyway, thanks for that. I couldn't get Google to tell me when the last at-home championship in Pittsburgh was.
I appreciate it!
if you are a boston bruins fans you must know what Habs4ever stands for...

Does the phrase "le bonheur est Montréal" answer your question? LOLOL
One of my best NHL memories is actually seeing goalie Ken Dreyden in action (and yes...I'm THAT old!)
Im a bit younger I started watching when Patrick Roy was starting, the era with Ray Bourque, Cam Neely. I remember the habs really struggled against the Bruins at that time. (got knocked off by them in 88, 90, 91, 92, and 94.)

Damn, you're bringing back memories! In high school, I lived and breathed hockey (our home team is the AHL's Rochester Americans) but started drifting away after Brad Park got sent to Boston and Phil Esposito wound up with the Rangers....
infamously known as "The Deal".
In my home town there was an AHL franchise back in the day. Perhaps you remember the Sherbrooke Canadiens, but they moved in the 90's. I'm glad to see hockey is loved south of the border too :)
