So does bad grammar and spelling;
but that doesn't stop 75% of the people on here from using it.

You're totally right. I mean, I don't know how people do it! I can't get through one sentence before correcting it. I corrected that last sentence 6 times! Unfortunately, I am a grammar Nazi. And it hurts me because it usually takes me at least a minute to type certain sentences.

Oh, I know how they do it. The problem is they think it's "cool" and funny and they just don't care. They don't understand (or care) what a hassle it is to sit there and read the meme 3 or 4 times over, just to try and understand what's being said. That takes half the fun out of this site.
I used to be a Grammar Policeman (being 1/2 German, I like to avoid the term "nazi") but I think I'm getting better at just shaking my head, keeping quiet, and moving on to the next submission. I backslide now and then, but I am ignoring a lot more memes than I used to.
