Snooker is played on a 12 foot by 6 foot table. The table is set up as in the picture - the numbers are the value of the balls. The potting sequence is a red followed by a colour (yellow, green, brown, blue, pink or black) - a potted red stays in the pocket while a colour goes back on its spot. After the last red and colour is potted the colours are potted in order - yellow through to black - this time they stay in the pocket. Whoever has the most points wins the frame. If there is no direct path to the ball you have to hit you are "snookered" - I think the pool equivalent is "behind the 8 ball". Hope that helps :)
