It sounds like you're picturing the earth in space as a globe and assuming that a river flowing from South to North is therefore flowing uphill against gravity.

But the way we depict the globe vertically is arbitrary. We could just as easily picture it upside down or sideways.

I was taught that gravity was a force acting relative to the center of mass. Relative to the center of the Earth, the Nile flows downhill, not uphill.

It's a lovely theory but the Photoshop image you have used is not a true depiction of earth. By nasa own words. So just as the imaginary floating ball in space has curved water on it means by logic ALL water can't be always flowing downhill. Some river somewhere must be on the opposite side flowing UP... ?????

Uphill/downhill is just a matter of elevation. Rivers always flow downhill towards the center of the earth.

But then how can water be held in a perfect curve? if it always runs "downhil;l" towards the center... it just doesn't make any logical sense and needs a theory and complicated mathematics and hundreds of photoshopped images (lol) to try and explain.. so occam's razor would say logically the earth is a flat plane.

I appreciate what you're saying about Occam's Razor, but from what you've said so far, it seems like you're adding unnecessary complications. It doesn't seem right to add unnecessary complications to the other side of the issue, and then claim that Occam's Razor supports your side of the issue.

I mean with a quick search you can find 100's of pages debunking NASA and the whole lie of outer space

I can find hundreds of videos on why Hitler was a good guy. Are they nessesarily right?

Oh yeah there's also flushing a toilet in the north and south hemispheres, they flow opposite to eachother. Northern hemisphere, flows clockwise, southern hemisphere flows counter clockwise, I use Australia as an example cuz I know people that live there. And if you flush on the equator, it flows straight down. I f**kin love science.

I used to believe that was true, about the water flushing in different directions in different hemispheres, but it isn't.

So you actually believe the earth is flat? Interesting. I'm not gonna try and convince you otherwise. But if you look up weather balloon/ go-pro, you can see litterally hundreds of amatuer videos of people letting go of a weather balloon, with a go-pro and gps, travelling over 100,000 feet plus, and you can see the blue horizon and the curvature of the earth, done by ordinary people all around the world. If you're lucky enough you can find the one where the jet passes 10,000 feet underneath. Pretty cool. I grew up in the Rockies and now live in the prairies, never have I seen a river flow up hill.
