Indeed, it does help them get their message seen. And if somebody who didn't catch the political slant (and trust me, some people are that oblivious) sees it, they may decide not to upvote or, I daresay, decide to downvote! Besides, nothing in this world is black and white. Not even our races. So, seeing a different person's point of view is a healthier approach than denying everything.
