I get that and I agree. That's exactly what Black Lives Matter and Native Lives Matter movements were getting at....inequalities in the justice system send a message that the lives of Black & Natives are somehow less valuable & unworthy of the same treatment as all others in society. So stating it in that way means the same thing, hello, hey, we are human, we're Americans, we matter too just as much as other citizens, stop inequality in the justice system.
