Abe Lincoln won third party, maybe someone else will this year

The American people are too lazy to write in a candidate. It will boil down to who everyone thinks is the lesser of 2 evils.

Then we definitely deserve these candidates... if we are that lazy. Constitutional Party candidate is basically like a conservative republican and is on ballots in 19 states so far. I don't think people are to lazy to pencil in Rubio or Cruz, maybe too lazy to chose a third party though.

When this government was originally designed to be ran by the people and instead is now being ran by the politicians, it is because the majority of the people are just allowing the politicians to make the decisions for them and hope for the best.

That and our representation is not to the same scale anymore. We are barely represented. This is why many of the Anti-Federalist papers claimed that a representative republic would only work if there were few people.
