I'm probably gonna start a war with this comment, but I think the REAL reason why everyone found this scene so sad is because Yakko cried ACTUAL tears for his sister's FAKE death (If anyone has actually seen the movie, Dot wakes up a few minutes after this scene. It turns out that she was just acting.) It made everyone cry to see how much Yakko loved his little sister.

don't you dare try to use Animaniacs in place of Clanad After Story

I wouldn't be surprised if the writers of After Story got ideas from Animanaiacs.

I haven't seen Wakko's Wish, and Hello Nurse isn't in the reboot
