There is a classic UK sitcom set in prison called "Porridge" - porridge being a slang term for prison. At the start of every episode we hear the main character being sentenced by the judge with the words "Norman Stanley Fletcher you have been found guilty of the charges..." etc. Since then in every sketch show a character being sentenced has had the middle name Stanley as an homage to the show.
