Individuals and non-government institutions (businesses and churches, etc.) have a right to be prejudice just as much as individuals have a right to be who they are (LGBT). And I believe that there's enough room in our society for everyone, bigots and LGBTs alike (that's why USA is #1!).

That being said, I am a heterosexual white male, so I can't really speak to the experiences of a minority.
