One of the problems with this line of thought is that it doesn't examine the assumptions behind it.
Here are 2 key problems I see (there are probably more):
#1. We have a tendency to look at the universe as if we are the "good" guys, so that when bad things happen to us, it's evil. But what if we're not the good guys? If we're the bad guys, and what we do are bad things, then it is fitting for God, as the judge of the universe, to make sure our evil actions are justly rewarded - which we might (wrongly) label "evil" happening to us.
#2. Who sets the standard here for what is good and evil? If we're going to be evaluating God's actions and deciding whether his actions are right or not, how do we know that our standard for doing so is a meaningful one?
So it's a good conversation starter, but it's not a good reason to conclude that God doesn't exist.
However the meme brings up a good topic, and nobody else has upvoted it yet for some reason, so have an upvote for your efforts.
