If by that you mean "funded by Americans", then yes. The Walton heirs are the richest family in the US (at roughly $150B), with more money than Bill Gates and Warren Buffet combined. Their employees, on the other hand, make low enough wages to qualify for government aid... to the tune of nearly $1M per store per year. Multiply that by the 4,000-5,000 stores they operate, that amounts to about a $1/2B taxpayer-funded subsidy to the Waltons...Yay;) Something to consider when you see those "deep price rollbacks"...just sayin'...
