I've been told(I use my phone so this site doesn't show a lot of info)that until you reach 10K anything you upvote gets 1 point after that you get fractions of points.The higher your points the smaller the fraction gets,so if you have 1million points it's the tiniest.I don't know what purpose that serves.Also by up voting comments and memed comments you get a higher number of points.More points when you comment on threads and the more you interact the more points you get.Ive been told that Any upvote on your comments is up to 40 points and the same for any upvotes on your meme.It seems the more active and social you are here the more attention your memes will get.
Posting a link to your relevant meme in the comments like this
imgflip.com/i/1307jo will hopefully get people to click it to view and that adds a higher point value.
Beware that downvoting memes affects your points in a negitive way and if you "upset" some people it seems to be common that those persons will visit your page and down vote everything they can.Trolls will open a fake account to do that so it won't hurt their actual page.
Since you're below 10K at the moment,take advantage of that to rack up some easy points by up voting!
It shouldn't be about your score,it should be about having a good time,interacting with the regulars here and creating what you feel is new or original ... Although getting higher on the scoreboard is part of the fun and motivation.
