I have had issues with comments disappearing... or not getting notified of comments. I can be looking at a thread,.. and see a reply to me,... that was not on my notifications. I try and reply to all... =)
WHAT IF I TOLD YOU; YOU HAVE TO VIEW THE SAME MEME A BUNCH SOMETIMES BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE COMMENT A LOT AND YOU DON'T GET NOTIFIED UNLESS IT'S A DIRECT RESPONSE TO YOU?
